Database Reading Group
The Database Reading Group is an informal group that meets to discuss database research papers. We usually discuss papers from top-tier database conferences (e.g., SIGMOD/VLDB/ICDE). All members of our department are welcomed to attend whether regularly or not as far as s/he reads the paper in discussion beforehand.
ATTENTION: Be the paper czar!
Email us with your paper suggestion. You will be named as the paper czar of the week. No slides required. Just lead the discussion.
The type of the meeting varies. For example, you can practice your conference talk, show off your cool project, or share conference reports, etc.
